template

With templates, you can centrally store, update and manage reusable animation objects.

For example, you can create a template out of your opening and closing credits. Then you can copy the template into an episode and update it with the new episode name.

You can store templates locally, in a folder in your animation set folder, or globally, in a folder in a central location on your computer.

To use templates in your animation, you can either copy or link them into your animation.

You can create templates from items in your animation set or from images, sounds and movies on your computer. Then you can reuse these items in other scenes in the current animation or in future animations you work on.

You can view and organize templates in the Library window. Toon Boom Studio templates have the extension TBT (Toon Boom templates).
